MWI Franchise Mediation Services
MWI maintains a panel of premier professional neutrals well-seasoned in
franchise disputes, and experienced in working with conflicts that involve
long-term contractual relationships. With an emphasis on assisting the
franchisee and the franchisor to prepare for the mediation, parties attend
the session understanding not only what is important to themselves, but what
they want to accomplish.
This preparation empowers parties to have an effective discussion focused on
securing mutually beneficial solutions that takes into account their
business interests. There is no settlement unless the parties agree, and
parties have given up none of their rights to proceed before an appropriate
venue if the matter is not resolved.
MWI Mediators have mediated hundreds of franchise cases
including:
• Dealer/distributor conflicts
• Overdue royalty payments
• Results of franchisor audits
• Incentive bonus programs
• Franchisee terminations
• Encroachment
• Advertising
MWI administers all aspects of the services including intake, convening,
logistics and follow-up. This efficient process allows parties to resolve their
dispute, saving both time and money.
