 Dispute Resolution Experience

Stephen Hicks has been an arbitrator and a mediator since 1982, and a professor of law at Suffolk University Law School teaching Torts and related subjects since 1977. He has been a member of various ADR panels and has participated in numerous trainings and continuing education programs on ADR as a participant and as a presenter for providers, law firms and insurance companies for over twenty years. His ADR experience covers personal injury and insurance law, premises liability, professional malpractice, consumer disputes, commercial and real estate transactions, business reorganizations, landlord and tenant problems, health care issues, and civil rights claims. He has served alone and on panels involving issues of law and damages from nominal sums to millions of dollars, formally with expert testimony, and informally, in a number of different settings, in single or multiple sessions.
