Dispute Resolution Experience

Michael Mullin has served as a mediator in over 1,100 disputes in a variety of states. He regularly mediates over 200 disputes per year, including 235 in 2010 alone. He has successfully mediated a wide range of civil disputes, including class action lawsuits, FLSA collective actions, FELA claims, Superfund CERCLA cost recovery actions, catastrophic injury claims, intellectual property disputes, shareholder disputes and virtually all types of business and commercial disputes. Over 90% of his mediated cases to date have resulted in a successful agreement. Michael was recognized as the 2011 Omaha Alternative Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America. Michael has been inducted into the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and is the only Nebraska attorney to achieve this recognition. He has served as a board member of the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution and the advisory board of the Werner Institute for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution at Creighton University School of Law. Michael is on the panel of approved mediators for the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska.
