MWI's Value Maximization Program

MWI’s Value Maximization Program is a service designed to help negotiators ensure they’ve developed the most valuable and creative agreements.  While our training programs are designed to teach negotiation skills and our coaching programs are designed to help negotiators prepare for their upcoming challenges, our Value Maximization Program is designed to ensure negotiators have maximized and captured the creative potential of their unique opportunity, retroactively.

The general process looks like this:

  • Step 1 – You negotiate the terms of the deal with your counterpart on your own.

  • Step 2 – You send the completed deal to MWI for assessment.

  • Step 3 – MWI assigns a Value Maximization Specialist to interview all parties and analyze the terms of the deal using our unique combination of expertise in both collaborative negotiation techniques and your industry.

  • Step 4 – MWI’s Specialist will work with you to make recommendations to improve the terms of the deal that will not detract value from either side.  In other words, it is our commitment to you that we will use the terms of the agreement as originally crafted as a benchmark and we will not make the deal worse for either side.

  • Step 5 – MWI charges 5% of the value gained by both you and your counterpart above your original agreement.

Our GUARANTEE – We will not make any recommendations that make the deal worse for either side.  Your fee will be determined by the value this service has created for the agreement as a whole.
