MWI Real Estate Mediation Program Overview
MWI’s Qualifications:
Mediation Works Incorporated (MWI) is approved by the Chief
Justice of the Land Court Department to provide mediation services for land use
issues, permit session cases and real estate disputes.
Types of Disputes Frequently Mediated at MWI:
Since 1994, MWI mediators have provided mediation services
to thousands of clients. Our mediators have handled the following types of
real estate cases: Adverse Possession, Boundary, Buyer / Agent, Condominium
Association, Contracts, Declaration of Trust, Easements, Eviction / Summary
Process, Landlord / Tenant, Mortgage foreclosure, Neighbor disputes, Petitions
for Partitions, Permit Session Cases, Planning Board, Probate Estates, Jointly
Owned Property for Unmarried Couples, Title, Zoning Board and Zoning Variances.
Scheduling a Mediation:
Mediation sessions are scheduled on a date and time convenient to each
participant. Generally, sessions can take place a few days from initial contact
with us. To reserve a date, each party is required to provide a non refundable
Case Management Fee in amount of $150. This fee is due on or before the

Mediation Fees
Mediation service fees are $225, per hour, per party. Payment is due after
the conclusion of the session unless alternate arrangements are made in advance.
Reduced rates are available for income eligible clients. To view a sample fee
