Dispute Resolution Experience
David Belcher is a mediator and practicing attorney with a particular interest in helping divorcing couples through what can be one of the most challenging transitions in their lives. He does not practice divorce law as an attorney, focusing instead on facilitating resolution for couples whether or not they are represented by divorce counsel themselves. With a math and finance concentration in his undergraduate work and almost two decades of experience counseling businesses of all sizes, he is comfortable helping couples unravel even the most complex financial affairs. Regardless of the parents’ financial situation, David appreciates well the significant impact failed relationships have on the children involved and how a successfully negotiated parenting plan is priceless.
David has an innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life, from the physicist to the stay at home caregiver to the Wall Street trader to the retiree. He readily develops trust and enables people to be comfortable around him, even in the most stressful situations. He is a creative yet pragmatic problem solver who cares deeply about his clients and achieving resolution.
