Laura Fabiano is a divorce mediator with MWI.  She strives to make divorce a peaceful transition for the parties and minimize any stress in the process. Laura helps her clients find the best options for child custody and parenting plans and has a good understanding of how the various options can best benefit the children in the transition.

Laura has an M.Ed. in School Counseling and has worked with at-risk youth in Boston, Lawrence, Lowell and Haverhill. Her work includes several years working with pregnant and parenting teens including running an alternative education program and teaching the girls  parenting and life skills. In addition, she worked with youth transitioning out of foster care whereby she taught them life skills, assisted them in pursuing jobs, housing and education, and advocated for them with various state agencies. Laura’s legal background consists of over twenty years working as a legal assistant for corporate law firms.

Laura volunteers at Girls Inc. in Lynn at a Leadership Academy for high school girls and is also a volunteer for Boston CASA as a court appointed special advocate for kids in the system.
