General Motors – ADR Mediator & Arbitrator Training Program

This comprehensive 8-hour training program is designed to prepare Dealers and members of GM Management to serve as mediators and arbitrators with General Motors Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

The purpose of the training is to prepare you to serve as either a Dealer or Management Mediation Panel Member as part of the GM Dispute Resolution Process to assist Dealers and General Motors to resolve disputes in a fair, timely and cost-effective manner.

The training will take place via Zoom on June 15&17, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM ET each day. Please complete the registration form below to confirm your place in the training. Once received, you will receive a confirmation email from MWI’s GM Administrator, Diana Chiang, that will include more information about the training and a Zoom link.

  • In the space provided below, please write a brief statement (6 to 8 sentences) about yourself. If you are a dealer, please include the car lines you sell, the location of your dealership(s), and the length of time you have been in business. If you are a management representative, please include the length of time you have worked for GM, the position or positions you have held and your current responsibilities. Both Dealer and Management Mediators should add some personal information (charities, clubs, organizations, awards, hobbies, etc) to help the parties get to know you better.

    When describing periods of time, please provide the year started (and finished, if applicable) instead of "for X years" to avoid your bio becoming inaccurate over time. For instance, instead of "I have been a Dealer for over 15 years..." please write, "I have been a Dealer since 1998..."
