MWI’s Automated Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Case Referral Protocol
MWI is now accepting Small Claims, Civil, Summary Process, HPO, and Divorce cases through our automated case referral system. Before getting started, please email Vanessa Linsey at vlinsey@mwi.org with the names and email addresses of all court staff who will be referring cases to MWI. We need this information to properly code our software.
Once Vanessa has replied to confirm that your email has been registered, please follow the following three steps to refer a case:
- Scan the case as a PDF and name it the docket number.
- Attach the PDF (one case at a time) to an email addressed to referral@mwi.org.
- Be sure to include the docket number in the subject line and click send.
That’s it! 1-2-3! From there, our software will process the case and distribute it to one of our qualified mediators who will reach out to parties within 30 days. MWI’s staff will alert you with outcomes via email when mediations are complete.
