Learn from an Experienced Negotiator
Roy Baroff
Negotiation Trainer, Mediator, Attorney, and Organizational Ombuds
Roy Baroff brings decades of negotiation and conflict resolution experience to MWI's Negotiation Skills Workshop. A licensed attorney in North Carolina with 38 years of legal practice, Roy has negotiated extensively on behalf of clients and served as a mediator helping individuals and groups work through complex disputes and reach mutually acceptable solutions.
His mediation experience includes tenant-landlord, rental, and land development disputes. He has also trained attorneys and other professionals in mediation and conflict resolution.
Roy has served as an ombuds for several organizations, supporting people as they evaluate conflict, identify options, and develop strategies for negotiating challenging issues constructively.
He is also an experienced negotiation educator. Roy taught Negotiations at Elon University School of Law in Greensboro from 2016 through 2023 and has taught negotiation for other organizations, combining negotiation theory with practical experience gained across legal, mediation, and ombuds settings.
