Responsible for all financial planning and management, business development and execution, marketing campaigns, as well as the supervision of over 200 hundred mediators, trainers, staff and interns; Sets and oversees the implementation of MWI’s vision, mission, as well as current and long-term organizational goals and objectives.

Title:   Director of Mediation Services

Josh Hoch is MWI’s Director of Mediation Services and a divorce mediator. Josh also teaches advanced mediation training programs and manages mediations and arbitrations in the areas of family law, consumer automotive, real estate, land use, and construction. Additionally, Josh coordinates monthly workshops for parents seeking divorce, supervises MWI’s parenting coordinators, and serves as a mentor to mediators looking to expand their practice to include divorce mediation.

Title:    Operations Manager

MWI’s Office Manager, Cassandra Bazarian, is responsible for managing the office, coordinating accounts payables and receivables, maintaining equipment and supplies, answering phones, and maintaining MWI’s confidential records system. Cassandra is also responsible for the logistical coordination of MWI’s open-enrollment training programs including preparing binders and other training materials, managing on-site logistics at training programs to ensure their successful and uninterrupted operation.

Title:    Manager of Commercial & Corporate Programs

With MWI since 2013


Marcus Stergio is a mediator and the Manager of Commercial & Corporate Programs at MWI.  Marcus administers the dispute resolution process for multiple auto and retail franchise organizations, manages a national panel of franchise mediators while serving as the primary contact for clients such as General Motors, BMW North American, 7-Eleven, Inc. among others. Marcus also manages MWI’s panel of workplace and employment mediators, serving as the primary contact for EAPs, referral agents and disputing parties. Locally, Marcus manages the MWI Court Mediation Program and oversees a panel of between 50-60 pro bono court mediators. As part of that program, Marcus is tasked with mentoring new mediators and maintaining the success of more experienced court mediators. Within that Court Mediation Program, Marcus organizes and hosts monthly Roundtable events, which serve as continuing education and networking opportunities for the dedicated panel of volunteer mediators. As a practitioner, Marcus mediates primarily workplace and employment disputes, both with MWI and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and delivers both mediation and negotiation trainings to universities and commercial clients. Outside of MWI, Marcus is adjunct faculty at Lasell College where he teaches a Conflict Resolution and Negotiation Course and is also the Web Manager for NEACR, the New England Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution.

Title:   Program Manager

With MWI since 2014


Megan Winkeler is a mediator, trainer, and staff member at MWI. As a Program Manager at MWI, Megan manages grant writing and program development for MWI’s mediation and negotiation training programs. In particular, Megan developed and directs the MWI Women’s Negotiation Project, a program which offers free negotiation workshops to income-eligible women in Boston.
