Meet the MWI Staff

Chuck is an experienced mediator and organizational ombuds specializing in employment, franchise, and commercial disputes. He founded MWI in 1994 and has provided mediation, ombuds, and other conflict resolution services to companies, universities, agencies, and nonprofit organizations nationwide. Chuck is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner and received a President’s Award from the International Ombuds Association in 2024.

Josh is an experienced ombuds, mediator, instructor, and mentor committed to supporting individuals and organizations through effective conflict resolution. He oversees MWI’s Organizational Ombuds Panel, Conference Ombuds Program, and mediation panels for contracted clients. Josh has been a member of the MWI team since June 2001.

Dana is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner, workshop facilitator, mediator, and guest lecturer. She works with MWI’s ombuds clients to identify desired outcomes, strengthen data management practices, and create reports that illuminate organizational patterns and opportunities. Dana holds a master’s degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law’s Straus Institute.

Liz is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience as an ombuds, mediator, and attorney in higher education, government, and corporate settings. She leads MWI’s communications, outreach, development, and partnership-building efforts. Liz is also a frequent speaker on conflict resolution, team dynamics, and early conflict engagement.

Joe is a senior negotiation and conflict resolution practitioner who has helped organizations worldwide strengthen negotiation skills and manage important external relationships. His work spans the technology, pharmaceutical, financial services, energy, entertainment, humanitarian, and peacebuilding sectors. Joe is a co-recipient of the 2020 Melanie Greenberg U.S. Peacebuilding Award of Excellence.

Harshit supports MWI’s ombuds clients through data analysis, business intelligence, and technology solutions. He translates complex information into practical insights, develops dynamic dashboards, optimizes Salesforce operations, and strengthens data integrity. His work helps clients make informed decisions, identify opportunities, and continuously improve their programs.

Clarice is a mediator and program manager who oversees dispute resolution programs for MWI’s corporate clients. She also supports MWI’s panel of volunteer mediators serving Greater Boston’s District and Municipal Courts, along with MWI’s training and mentor programs. Clarice earned her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law.

Elise is a mediator, ombuds, and program manager who oversees projects and teams, develops organizational training materials, and conducts climate surveys and reports. She holds a master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and has completed the International Ombuds Association’s Foundations course. Elise works in English, Spanish, and Dutch.

Zoe works with MWI’s internal team to support ombuds program operations, develop client materials, and assist with data analysis and reporting. She helps coordinate the details that allow MWI’s programs and client engagements to operate effectively. Zoe holds a bachelor’s degree in Environment from McGill University.

Alice supports volunteer mediators and coordinates cases for MWI’s Court Mediation Program. A trained mediator and member of the International Ombuds Association, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Conflict Studies and is pursuing a master’s degree in Conflict Studies at Saint Paul University, with a focus on mediation and peacebuilding.

Lisa manages MWI’s financial data and day-to-day accounting operations. Her responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, payroll, financial entries, reconciliations, general ledger activity, monthly reporting, and payment adjustments. Her work supports accurate financial records and efficient organizational operations.

Bob directs and advises on the financial aspects of MWI’s operations. He is responsible for financial planning, cash-flow oversight, and helping the organization make informed financial decisions that support its programs, services, and long-term sustainability.
