MWI Women’s Negotiation Program
The MWI Women’s Negotiation Program offers free negotiation skills workshops to income eligible women in Boston. The program focuses on providing participants with the foundation for effective negotiations as well identifying solutions for gender biases many women encounter in their negotiations in the workplace and at home.
By the end of the program, participants will gain a variety of skills for approaching negotiations and will apply these skills in interactive small group discussions and a variety hands-on activities. In particular, the training improves participants’ skills in the following areas:
- Preparing effectively for negotiations
- Communicating effectively
- Influencing and persuading others
- Dealing with difficult tactics
The MWI Women’s Negotiation Program has partnered with Dress for Success Boston and the Ana B. Stearns Foundation to deliver free workshops. MWI has also offered the workshop to students and employees through Gordon College’s Women In Leadership program.
